Hot Forked Buffet Menu

Grasmere Farm Rutland Sausages with a red wine and onion gravy, grain mustard mash and creamed leeks with parmesan butterbeans

Lasagne (meat or chargrilled vegetable) with garlic bread

Andulusian Chicken – poached breast of chicken with a sauce of lemons, tarragon, baby onions and dry sherry, finished with cream, paprika roasted baby new potatoes

Tagine of Lamb – a rich dish of spicy sweet lamb cooked until tender with tomatoes, apricots and almonds, minted cous cous with sundried tomatoes

Burgundy Beef – chuck steak cooked with onions, garlic and red wine in a rich gravy sweetened with prunes, dauphenoise potatoes

Chunky Beef Chilli – chunks of chuck steak and red kidney beans in a rich chilli sauce with rice, guacamole and soured cream

Smokey Fish Pie – chunks of cod, salmon, smoked haddock and prawns in a lemon, parsley and cheddar cream sauce with a fluffy mash top

Normandy Pork – medallions of pork fillet in a sauce of apples, onions, celery, white wine, flavoured with sage and thyme and finished with cream, brown rice

Thai Squash & Chickpea Curry with a lemon, coriander and sweet pepper pilaf (v)

Cherry Vine tomato, red onion and basil salad with a balsamic dressing
Green salad with a dressing of olive oil, garlic and lemons
Brown rice salad with a ginger and soy dressing
